In May of 2012, The SICOA Board of Directors decided to cease assigning minor league football games due to our heavy
obligations year round to youth, interscholastic & collegiate training
and game assignments. After 11 years, the decision was not an
easy one, but one we felt was best for the association.
It may become a viable option for SICOA to revisit minor
league officiating in the future. Another factor was insurance &
financial compliance from teams participating.

Interested officials that wish to work minor league football
games from February - May, you should contact one or both of
the current booking commissioners that service the top three
minor league programs in the state of Florida. Contact them
between November 1st and December 1st. Season starts in
February. Be prepared to travel. Fees are flat between $70 &
$80 per official, per game. Crews range from 5 to 7 man
depending on the league and the agreed fees annually.
There is a separate membership fee with each league you work
between $35 and $50 annually.
